# Luca Radojevic - Meeting 1
## Preparation
### Questions for me
- Why did you quit?
- I was looking for a new challenge, where I can learn new skills and expand my horizon
- I felt like the work environment didn't allow me anymore to work at my best.
- I did not agree with the founders on how to approach the development of the product and the business development
- It started as an unpaid leave, but I realized that I want a new challenge, thus I quit.
- What is your ideal position?
- medtech field
- engineering, but towards project owner (#todo/p be able to properly define what I want to do).
- When are you available?
- A 2 weeks notice
- What compensation package do you expect?
- chf 120-140k
- depends on the entire package (stock based compensation, other benefits?)
- depends on the company (startup vs big corporate)
### Questions
- What companies are you hiring for?
- how large are they?
- what field are they working in?
- What roles are you hiring for?
- How many different companies are you hiring for?
Can you provide more detail about the open positions in written form, such that I can go over it in the next couple of days?

Generally it was a good discussion.

## Reflection
- Sneaky way of asking for salary expectation: ask about the previous salary instead of your expectations.
- Like this I need to be honest: I don't want to lie
- "Thank you for the question. My previous role was quite unique in terms of responsibilities and compensation, and it doesn't align directly with the current market for this type of position. However, based on my research and the responsibilities of this role, I would expect a salary in the range of CHF 120k-140k. I'd be happy to discuss this further and find a mutually beneficial agreement."
- I need to formulate better why I left my old role and what my old role was.
- Only reply to the recruiter if I am actually interested in the job. Else it's a wast of time for him and our relationship worsens

- Illusion Finland
- Seedcamp (convertible note)
- Clearpath robotics: ryan
Competitors:
- [Ovo tech](https://egg-breakers.com/)
- [MOBA | Egg grading and packing](https://www.moba.net/)
Sales
- goal is to sell 50-100 units in the next year (up to 20 per customer)
Risk
- hiring: he sees the biggest challenge in hiring right now.
Tech
- using cobots and off the shelf cameras
- Mostly computer vision and steering
- ros2, with control and planning pipeline. Currently no end-to-end learning solution because they want to ship fast.
- problems
- hand-eye coordination
- camera calibration
Roadmap
- solve egg packaging problem, sell test iterate, niche market. Expand world wide.
- Then find next niche and repeat.
- eventually going into planting / harvesting
He mentioned that the founders are not convinced that LLM like models for robots will exist anytime soon, which is why they think that problems need to be solved using unique solutions for niche problems by using more traditional approaches and only leveraging AI and Machine Learning for established subtasks.

## Reflection
- Good answers to:
- What is the most challenging problem you've solved at OneSec?
- I need to reflect upon my time at OneSec: what are problems that I actually solved and where innovation happened?
- Have a better story why I left OneSec --> don't bash on them
- What are my strengths and my weaknesses? How would I contribute to Witty Machines?

## Coding Challenge
- Spiral traversal problem in a matrix
- Good solution would have been recursive solution : traverse outer rim, and then iterate with sub selection
- Python basics: pass by reference / pass by pointer etc.
- todo: prepare for coding interviews.
